Obituary of Josephine Caiazzo Astuto

Josephine (Joanne) Astuto, 77, of Brooklyn New York passed away October 19th, 2020.

Mrs. Astuto was born March 19th, 1943 in Brooklyn New York to Vincent and Josephine Caiazzo.  She moved to Brevard county in May 2004.

Joanne enjoyed painting, opera, and as a devoted Catholic was a member of the Carmelites.   She served as a Bereavement Counselor and a Eucharistic minister at Ascension Catholic Church.  Joann was a caring and giving woman who enjoyed volunteering at Vitas, reading to and comforting the sick.

Joanne is preceded in death by her parents Vincent and Josephine Caiazzo.

She is survived by her husband, James Astuto and her daughter Anne Jordan,  of Brooklyn New York.

Visitation will be held October 29th at Beach Funeral Home, Wickham Road, 5pm-8pm.

Funeral services will be held at Ascension Catholic Church of Melbourne, October 30th at 11 am
