A beautiful man who lived and preached the gospel of Jesus Christ. Always a delight to have him celebrate Mass at Ascension. His homilies touched your soul. Rest in peace with the Lord Fr. Mike.

Father D ran a proogram named SEARCH , search for christian maturity, a weekend retreat program designed for ordinairy kids 16-18. I had the privelage to work as director of SEARCH for one year. Fr. D and I had a great time and I learned so much. Always in my memory Shalom.

We send our deepest sympathy to Father Mike's family. Father Mike touched our family in so many ways. We first met Father Mike while stationed at Wright-Patterson AFB, OH. Father Mike would fill in for Father Bill at St Luke's in Beavercreek. During his last mass at St Luke's, it was announced that Father Mike was leaving for Los Angeles AFB, CA. We stopped after mass to wish him well and let him know that we, too, were also going to be moving to Los Angeles AFB. Needless to say, we did catch up with him. He brought me out of my shell to become a more active member of the Air Force Catholic Community there. After 20 years of marriage, Dan became a Catholic. It was because of Father Mike. He personally instructed Dan after having Sunday dinner at the house while he was at Los Angles AFB. Father Mike also participated in our children's science experiments. He never forgot that Danny made him dip his hands in ice cold water. After Father Mike left Los Angeles AFB, we did not see him again until October 2006. After we notified him that Danny passed away, he did not hesitate to come back to Los Angeles to help celebrate Danny's funeral mass. Father Mike was one of 9 priests. We were told that we could only have 2 people eulogize Danny during the mass. Did that stop Father Mike from speaking anyway???? NO!!! He shared his faith, wisdom and memories which we carry in our hearts forever. To his family, I hope these memories bring you some comfort. God bless you all. Father Mike, rest in peace with Danny.

Please accept my sincere condolences. I have many fond memories of my cousin. I remember Aunt Kay's speech at his ordination reception and how thankful she was that God chose him to be a priest. He will be missed by many. May those closest to him find peace in the wonderful memories of his love.
