Judith Derr Hofmann

After a long and debilitating illness, Judith Derr Hofmann was finally at peace on May 18, 2021.

She was born November 17, 1938 in Shepherdstown, WV and graduated from Gettysburg College with a degree in Chemistry, starting a new job in Bethesda, MD with the CDC. From her marriage with Jon Wagnild, she had three children, Craig, Kirsten and Zachary. In 1977 they moved to Grand Junction, CO where her marriage ended in divorce. In 1988, she married Ernst Hofmann and moved to Delta, CO.

In 1996 after retirement, she and Ernst moved to Florida in the Melbourne area to be with Judith’s mother.

Judith is survived by her husband, three children, three stepchildren, twelve grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Services will be held Saturday at 3pm at  Ascension Lutheran Church, 1053 Pinetree Drive in Indian Harbour Beach, Florida.
