Obituary of Nancy L. LaMorie

Nancy LaMorie, 77, of Indian Harbour Beach, died Wednesday, September 28, 2022 at Vitas Hospice Care in Rockledge, FL.  She was born April 2, 1945 in Syracuse, NY, to Mary and Martin Bell.  She married Roger LaMorie on September 12, 1964, and together they had two daughters.

Surviving are her two daughters, Michele Suchy of Satellite Beach, FL (husband Michael) and Kimberly Scicchitano of Kennett Square, PA (husband Jeffrey); one grandson, Dominic Scicchitano; two step-grandchildren, Nicole and Michael Suchy; and two sisters, Linda and Cindy.

A longtime resident of Florida, Nancy was a free spirit, who loved the sun and the sand; she stayed fit with her friends, attending local Zumba and Yoga classes, as well as, the Tuesday Night Run Club in Satellite Beach.  She loved card games and sports, and was a loyal Syracuse Orange, NY Giants, and NY Yankee fan.  A true optimist, her light shined bright throughout all of her days.

Visitation is from 6 PM until 8 PM on Monday, October 17, 2022 at Beach Funeral Home in Indian Harbour Beach, FL.  The funeral service will take place at 11:30 AM on Tuesday, October 18, 2022 at Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Community, in Indialantic, FL.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital ,Indian Harbour Beach Fire Department or to the Indian Harbour Beach Police Department.
